Dollar Tree, Inc. seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. The role supports opening/closing, merchandise organization, and adherence to company policies in a fast-paced retail setting.

The position emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and loss-prevention duties, with responsibility for staff training and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Assist in organizing merchandise from delivery to sales floor and stockroom.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain storefront displays and promotional fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Keep the store and stockroom neatly organized per company standards.
• Protect store assets including cash and adhere to safety policies.
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Ensure cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and waste removal.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
