Job summary

L.P.T Retail Management Services, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to act as the Store Manager's surrogate on days off, vacations, or illnesses. You will maintain cash, inventory and expenses controls, and ensure daily end-of-day reports are submitted.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, helping recruit and train employees, scheduling within labor guidelines, updating price books, checking in vendors, and ensuring safety and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• High school level math competency.
• Collaborative work style, able to partner with personnel.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cash controls and expenses; complete end-of-day reports.
• Make daily bank deposits and call in fuel reports.
• Assist Store Manager in recruiting, training and coaching staff.
• Help write and enforce employee work schedules within labor guidelines.
• In Manager's absence, hire/dismiss with District Manager approval.
• Cover open shifts and ensure store standards (safety, appearance, security).
• Order groceries to avoid overstocking; check in vendors and update price book.
• Conduct fuel price surveys and price changes; perform daily walkthroughs.
• Analyze sales trends by shift/day and support growth and performance.
