Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of management experience.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Collaborative work style and ability to coach and develop staff.
• Willingness to work long and sometimes unusual hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper controls on cash, inventory and expenses.
• Complete end-of-day reports by noon on Monday and by midnight on other days.
• Make daily bank deposits by the established deadline.
• Recruit, screen and hire new employees; train and schedule staff.
• Develop and post work schedules within labor guidelines.
• Conduct performance reviews and discipline as needed.
• Ensure store meets company standards for safety and appearance.
• Order groceries to avoid overstock or stockouts; manage merchandising and signage.
• Attend meetings to receive instruction and updates.
