Job summary

Janie and Jack is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a fashion retail team in International Plaza, Tampa, FL. This full-time role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience and achieving store KPIs.

As a store leader, you will coach staff, drive sales, implement visual merchandising, and ensure efficient operations. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required; you will help recruit and develop a high-performing team and contribute to a positive store culture.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years retail sales experience with management
• Experience meeting/exceeding sales and profits
• Training skills to elevate team
• Experience implementing merchandising strategies
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Able to lift/move merchandise and fixtures up to 40 pounds
• 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Supports General Manager in daily store operations and KPI achievement
• Develops action plans with GM to meet objectives and timelines
• Leads by example to drive sales and customer engagement
• Implements visual merchandising to optimize floor space and layout
• Uses tools/resources to enhance the customer experience
• Adapts to change and grows the business with new ideas
• Motivates team to hit hourly, daily and weekly goals
• Fosters a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment
• Assists in recruiting and building a dynamic team
• Performs training planning and delivery with GM
• Other duties as assigned
