Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Frederica, DE location. You will assist with daily store activities, ensure merchandise is properly displayed, and help manage payroll and scheduling while upholding company policies.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties as part of daily tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor, maintaining seasonal areas
