Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Birch Run, MI to help run daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop a team. You will assist with merchandising, staffing, opening/closing, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities include supervising associates, maintaining planograms, protecting assets, and upholding safety standards to create a positive shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or similar setting preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret operational directives.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and resolve questions.
• Organize merchandise flow from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling duties.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floors and organized stockrooms.
