Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and demonstrate problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and store displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Ensure a clean, well-stocked store and secure store assets.
• Adhere to safety policies and train store associates accordingly.
• Support Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store staff.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team.
• Keep bathrooms, floors, and stock areas clean and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
