Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. Duties include assisting with store functions and day-to-day activities, helping customers, and organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.

Additional responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, processing directives, managing displays, payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; support loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
