Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure standards are met across stockroom and sales floor.

The role requires strong communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on safety, accuracy in record-keeping, and loss prevention. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to train staff and uphold professional customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities and communications.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sale floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures including safety guidelines for staff.
