Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with daily store activities, helping customers, and organizing merchandise from delivery to sales floor.

You will help supervise and train store associates while maintaining a clean, well-stocked store. Ideal candidates have strong communication and problem-solving skills, a high-energy team mindset, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle physical store duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions or concerns in a positive manner.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and payroll/scheduling records.
