Ideal candidates have prior store management experience in retail or grocery settings, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. This part-time role emphasizes teamwork and delivering excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics) is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and handle frequent movement, walking, standing and climbing
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention activities
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards
• Protect and secure store assets including cash and fixtures
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates with the store manager
