Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Passaic, NJ. The role focuses on store operations, customer service, and team development to ensure smooth daily activities and strong guest experiences.

You will assist in merchandising, staffing, and maintaining store standards, while supporting the Store Manager in supervising associates and upholding company policies. This is a part-time on-site position in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and meet physical demands.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner; address questions.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash receipts.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and safe environment.
