Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee store operations, customer service, and team development. The role focuses on maintaining a well-organized sales floor, staff training, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.

The position requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to manage daily tasks, inventory, and safety compliance in a fast-paced retail setting. This is a part-time opportunity based in Milltown, New Jersey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and move merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support cost control, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling processes.
