Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with store functions, welcome customers, organize merchandise, and support the Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. This is a part-time role based in Lincoln Park, Michigan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
