Dollar Tree, Inc. in Plymouth, MA is seeking an assistant store manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. The role supports opening and closing procedures, merchandise flow from delivery to floor, and maintaining clean, well-stocked areas.

You will train and supervise Store Associates, uphold safety and policy guidelines, and protect company assets while delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention.
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment; professional interactions with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store; bathrooms, floors, trash, and general neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
