Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations, customer service, and team development in Sun Valley, CA.

You will support the Store Manager, supervise associates, assist in ordering and inventory, maintain clean, organized shelves and stockrooms, and ensure a welcoming, safe store environment.

This part-time role demands reliable attendance, good communication, and adherence to policies and security procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical store duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Support Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays; ensure store areas are well-stocked and organized.
• Protect and secure store assets and follow safety and procedures.
