Dollar Tree Stores in Newport News, VA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, support customers, and develop team members. You will assist the Store Manager with scheduling, merchandising, loss prevention, and enforcing policies to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store.

This role requires a high school diploma, retail management experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.

• Requires high school diploma and ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written and listening skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team.
• Knowledge of loss prevention and merchandising standards.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers with questions or concerns in a positive manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
