Job summary

Dollar Tree in Euclid, OH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise moves smoothly from delivery to floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and loss prevention
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment with customers and staff
• Keep store clean, tidy, and presentable
• Other duties as assigned
