Job summary

Dollar Tree in Euclid, Ohio is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will help with day-to-day functions and ensure the store runs smoothly.

You will train and supervise Store Associates, assist with merchandise flow and loss prevention, and uphold safety and company policies to deliver a positive shopping experience. Part-time position; strong communication and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment with customer focus.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, records including payroll and scheduling.
• Maintain organized stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment and compliant store operations.
• Train and develop Store Associates and supervise as needed.
