Dollar Tree Stores in Brooklyn, OH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store functions, help customers, and ensure merchandise is well organized on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits/receipts), and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates and leaders.
• Ensure cleanliness and restocking of bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
