Job summary

Boot Barn Anchorage is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will work with the Store Manager to cultivate an environment that supports our Mission, Vision, and Values. You will help lead a team of Partners, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive store sales.

You’ll coach partners on service, merchandising standards, and operations, adjust schedules, train staff, manage inventory and loss prevention, and partner with leadership to meet goals in a fast-paced western retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, provide coaching, actionable feedback, and recognition of excellence; be present on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Implement and maintain an environment of continuous learning and assist with partner training plans to improve store performance.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to adapt to changing business needs and adjust store schedules as needed.
• Ensure merchandise stock levels, presentations, signing and assortments meet customer needs and company guidelines.
• Assist with inventory shrink plans and drive loss prevention and productivity improvements.
• Develop personal knowledge across product categories and coach partners in these areas.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and adhere to Time and Attendance policy.
