Job summary

Norman’s Gift Shops, Inc. in Dallas, PA is hiring for an Assistant Store Manager at our Village Shopping Center location. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, lead a team, and drive customer service and sales.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of retail supervisory and customer service experience, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will train staff, manage events, shipments, merchandising, and use our POS system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Retail supervisory experience: 1 year or more.
• Customer service experience: 1 year or more.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive retail sales while delivering a caring customer experience.
• Assist Store Manager with operations: events, shipments, merchandising, promotions.
• Develop and train staff on products and processes.
• Lead in the store in the absence of the manager.
• Learn and use the POS system to ensure inventory accuracy and sales data.
