Sur La Table in Walnut Creek is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a dynamic retail team and deliver an outstanding culinary shopping experience to every guest. You will model the brand's guest-obsessed culture and help cultivate a positive store environment.

Responsibilities include recruiting, coaching, and developing team members; coaching for exceptional customer service; driving sales through effective merchandising and engagement; and ensuring store operations, safety, and policy

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and have 1-2 years of retail management experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supports recruitment, training, and ongoing development of a high-performing team.
• Provide coaching to ensure outstanding customer experiences.
• Lead development plans to support growth of individuals and team.
• Represent brand culture by creating memorable guest experiences and driving loyalty.
• Ensure merchandising, marketing, and engagement strategies meet sales goals.
• Assist in daily store operations, inventory, safety, and policy compliance.
