Job summary

Sur La Table in Walnut Creek is opening a new store and seeks a Sales Associate who will inspire customers through every stage of their culinary journey. You will support daily operations, deliver a best-in-center customer experience, and help drive sales by sharing product knowledge.

You will represent the brand, stay current on products, engage customers, assist with transactions, and maintain visual merchandising standards while contributing to a positive, high-performing team environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences that inspire repeat visits and customer loyalty.
• Maximize selling opportunities by identifying customer needs and offering relevant solutions; promote add-on sales.
• Accurately and efficiently process transactions and maintain store standards including visual merchandising.
