Pawn 1st in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Assistant Store Manager with 6+ months of management experience. You will lead daily store operations, recruit and develop staff, and drive customer satisfaction while partnering with the Store Manager to achieve financial goals.

You will promote a customer-centric environment, manage inventory and loans, and contribute to a productive team. The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity and store performance.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Proven ability to supervise others effectively.
• Experience with cash handling and POS operations.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Analytical skills for reviewing store performance.
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues.
• Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels.
• Open/close the store, count cash drawers, and protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and secure loans.
• Manage inventory, loans, merchandising, and reporting processes.
• Drive profitability by analyzing financial statements and setting goals.
• Maintain FirstCash operating standards across the store.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes for loan integrity.
• Communicate clearly with staff to align with store goals and mission.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge and store offerings.
• Act as manager on duty when Store Manager is absent.
