FirstCash Pawn in Texas seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and develop a customer-centric environment. You will partner with the Store Manager to train staff, recruit talent, and drive store profitability while managing customer relations.

You will analyze store performance, participate in asset protection, stock management, and merchandising. The role includes supervising staff, maintaining standards, and earning commission based on productivity.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to work 40+ hours per week, including weekends.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Able to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Foster a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise and protecting assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing loans.
• Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, and reporting.
• Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
• Communicate clearly with employees to align with mission and profit objectives.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
• Act as manager on duty in absence of Store Manager.
• Other related duties as assigned.
