Ross Stores is seeking an experienced Store Manager in Jonesboro, AR. This role leads all store operations, drives merchandising standards, and ensures exceptional customer service.

You will supervise Associates, manage schedules, and uphold Ross policies in a fast-paced retail environment. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in store or assistant store management, are fluent in English, and can work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, give direction and follow through.
• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment.
• Maintain high quality of Customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Leads all Company Best Practices and maximizes productivity by minimizing steps and touches.
• Assists in analysis of Store reports to evaluate expenses and performance.
• Ensures scheduling and completion of all Associate cleaning tasks, including restrooms.
• Assists in recruiting, hiring, training and developing non-exempt Associates.
• Manages payroll hours and scheduling compliance.
• Maintains adherence to safety policies and conducts monthly safety meetings.
• Supervises Retail Associates at registers, Customer Service desk, fitting rooms and sales floor.
• Represents the Ross brand with professional appearance and store cleanliness.
