Job summary

Lids Sports Group seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Youngstown, OH to lead daily store operations, train staff, and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service. You will ensure proper cash handling, inventory accuracy, and adherence to visual merchandising standards.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a commitment to a positive customer experience. As the heart of the store, you will manage scheduling, coaching, and policy adherence, supporting Store Manager

Qualifications

Proven ability to drive sales and minimize loss.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and lead a team when the Store Manager is absent.

Responsibilities

Lead and train store associates using LIDS Training Programs and set sales goals.
Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalations to make the customer experience right.
Execute store operations per company directives and ensure safety, cash handling, and inventory controls.
Manage backroom organization, product visibility, pricing changes, and VM updates.
Support staffing, scheduling, and recruitment to maintain proper store coverage.
