85°C Bakery Cafe in Flushing, NY is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our growing team. You will be the GM’s right hand, driving sales and profitability while developing the team and serving as leader on duty when the GM is away.

We hire leaders who uphold our standards of quality, service, and cleanliness and who can recruit, onboard, and train staff. This full-time, exempt role offers growth opportunities within a global bakery cafe brand.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of store or restaurant management experience.
• High school diploma required; AA degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
• Experience supervising 10+ team members.
• Full-time availability, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to drive store sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team; serve as manager-on-duty when the GM is away.
• Help manage store financials (P&L), labor, and inventory.
• Champion the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of the team.
