We are seeking a responsible Assistant Store Manager to support the operations at our Mall of America location. The role involves modeling best practices, sharing the LWP brand story, providing personalized recommendations, and guiding customers through their shopping experience. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to motivate and lead the team.
- Open and close the store independently.
- Coach and support Sales Associates.
- Introduce new products and recommend items based on customer needs.
- Handle customer issues and questions effectively.
- Process transactions accurately.
- Maintain a tidy and well-stocked sales floor.
- Assist with inventory management, visual merchandising, and backstock organization.
- Support in-store custom orders and bead-your-own bracelet activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store or Regional Manager.
Visual Merchandising & Inventory
- Participate in weekly reviews with HQ on visual merchandising and inventory levels.
- Manage merchandise receipt via ERP platform (Netsuite) and report discrepancies.
- Lead cycle counts and report findings.
- Ensure inventory levels meet display and stock standards.
- Lead product knowledge initiatives for launches.
- Demonstrate experience with inventory management and ERP systems.
Marketing
- Plan and execute in-store events and activations.
- Implement clienteling to build customer relationships.
- Create engaging social media content aligned with brand identity.
- Develop relationships with brand ambassadors and local influencers.
- Experience in retail marketing and familiarity with social media trends.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years retail experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creative mindset for content capture and beading activities.
- Problem-solving attitude.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
