A Day In The Life
- Lead a successful team, support the store manager, and manage store operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage sales, profits, and customer service.
- Build, coach, and engage the team to deliver excellent customer care and results.
- Handle inventory, assets, safety, and operational issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of all store areas.
- Implement operational and marketing programs, aiming for continuous process improvement.
- Grow customer relationships and ensure positive experiences both in-store and over the phone.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school courses preferred.
- Experience or willingness to learn about the automotive aftermarket or DIY culture.
- Passion for customer care and building long-term relationships.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs when necessary.
Preferred Skills
- Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, marine, or dealership industries.
- Experience in retail, auto body, auction, or fast-food management.
- Customer-centric attitude.
- ASE Certifications and NAPA Know How are a plus.
