Overview

Job Title: Assistant Store Manager
Reports To: Store Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary: Ensures store personnel are providing exceptional customer service. Answers questions and assists with product selection, purchases, and returns. Helps ensure the store is clean, well organized, and properly merchandised. Also responsible for making sure all store policies, procedures, and controls are followed, as well as planning, organizing, and delegating work among staff by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager in maintaining proper RTO and Pawn inventory levels.
• Review daily reports to ensure adherence to store policies and procedures.
• Ensure that physical facilities comply with safety codes.
• Responsible for the overall appearance of the store including the display of RTO and Pawn sales floor.
• Assist store manager in executing local store marketing.
• Provide and inspires employees to provide outstanding service to our customers.
• Assist store manager in protecting all company assets.
• Monitor RTO and Pawn delinquency rates and verify that accounts are kept within company guidelines.
• Manage store fleet of vehicles.
• Work to reduce profitability losses due to theft, vandalism, or incorrect business procedures.
• Promote sales by demonstrating merchandise and products to customers.
• Responsible for completing physical inventories each month as directed by the General Office.
• Evaluate competition by visiting competing stores and gathers information such as style, quality, and price.
• Contributes to the team effort.
• Performs any other job or task as assigned.
