Job summary

7-Eleven is looking for an Retail Assistant Manager to join our management team in Michigan. You will support the Store Leader, coach staff, and drive excellent customer service while overseeing merchandising and loyalty-program initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and store operations, with a focus on maintaining safety, inventory, and a welcoming customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience in retail or customer-service settings.
• Ability to lead a team, train staff, and coach for performance.
• Experience implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Strong cash handling and fuel transaction familiarity; promote loyalty programs.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• High School diploma or GED preferred; one year of Retail Management acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer service leadership alongside the Store Leader and manage store employees.
• Train, coach, and develop staff to improve performance and retention.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs across the store.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy, fuel transactions, and loyalty program promotions.
• Ensure a clean, safe store by following health and sanitation procedures.
