Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. in Four Oaks, NC is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team. This role supports the Store Leader, drives customer service, merchandising, and daily operations.

You will train and coach team members, oversee cash handling and loyalty promotions, ensure health and safety, and help maintain inventory and clean stores. A High School diploma or GED is preferred; retail management experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership with coaching to store staff.
• Demonstrate ability to identify qualified applicants and develop leaders.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Handle cash, fuel transactions and promote loyalty programs.
• Maintain clean, safe environments complying with health procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; retail management experience valued.
• Valid driver's license and ongoing auto liability coverage.
• Ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer service activities alongside the Store Leader.
• Coach and train team members to improve retention and performance.
