Job summary

Parker’s Kitchen in North Charleston, SC is seeking an Assistant Store Leader to help run daily store operations across gasoline, retail, and food service. You will support daily operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and contribute to employee development, all while maintaining Parker’s Kitchen standards.

You will coach team members, ensure safety standards, manage inventory & cash handling, and support budgets and sales goals while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to work in store operations.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Completion of Food Safety Certification within the first month of employment is mandatory.
• Completion of a skills-based certification within the first 120 days of employment is mandatory.
• Assistant Store Leaders must be able to work varied hours, days, and shifts as needed by the employer due to business circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist in leading, planning, and organizing store operations, including gasoline, retail, and food service.
• Support training and coaching of team members to maintain high service standards.
• Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning, including inventory management, ordering, and stocking.
• Assist in managing store budgets and expenses to maintain profitability and control costs.
• Partner with the Store Leader on monitoring sales and performance to meet financial goals.
