Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits is seeking an Assistant Store Leader to help oversee store operations, support the Store Leader, and drive guest service excellence.

You will lead Team Members, provide coaching, manage performance, and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. This role requires 21+ years of age, flexibility for nights and weekends, and a commitment to ABC’s Core Values.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• At least 6 months of proven management experience or training; or at least 1 year of education in Business Management or related field; or equivalent.
• Completion of the LIT program fulfills this requirement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by store leadership.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ABC’s Core Values with our Guests and Team Members every day.
• Provide timely feedback, coaching and documentation in performance management.
• Ensure high service standards by greeting Guests and delivering excellent service.
• Drive store performance metrics such as average transaction and sales growth.
• Manage conflicts professionally and resolve issues among Team Members or Guests.
• Oversee inventory control, replenishment and merchandising guidelines.
• Stay current on training, policies and product knowledge to ensure compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of ABC products and share with Guests and Team Members.
• Follow and enforce all operational compliance policies for safety.
• Perform standard management tasks including opening/closing, cash control, hiring and training, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
