Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a proactive store leader in Indiana to support the day-to-day operations, merchandising execution, and team development across departments.

You will drive customer service excellence, coach associates, and implement plans to improve store performance in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities include collaborating with department heads, managing operations in the manager’s absence, and using KPIs to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year as department manager or similar.
• Proven leadership and coaching experience.
• Experience using KPIs and data insights to drive decisions.
• Ability to collaborate across departments to improve store performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager in achieving customer service and merchandising goals.
• Lead teams in planning and executing operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans from survey results and communicate findings.
• Improve store opportunities with timely solutions and plans.
• Promote inclusive leadership and build relationships with local stakeholders.
• Manage store operations in the manager's absence.
• Analyze store performance and participate in budget discussions.
