SpartanNash is hiring an Assistant Store Director in Goshen, Indiana to support the Store Director and help manage all store operations. You will ensure all departments are staffed, trained, and operating efficiently while overseeing purchasing, payroll, and expenses.

The role focuses on leadership, budgeting, scheduling, merchandising, safety, and customer service to maintain a profitable and welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business Administration or related field.
• Three years of experience in a retail grocery environment with increasing levels of responsibility.
• One year of supervisory/leadership experience, preferably in retail.
• Proficient with computers (email, spreadsheets).
• Accounting/Bookkeeping skills.
• Interpret/Analyze Financials; Develop/Manage Budgets.
• Delegate/Direct/Implement; Detail Oriented.

Responsabilités

• Regular inspections of all areas with feedback to department managers.
• Review reports, take action, and communicate information as needed.
• Engage in financial planning including budgeting, staffing/payroll, and facility maintenance.
• Communicate and work with SpartanNash personnel.
• Train others to perform department activities and functions.
• Manage selection, scheduling, and supervision of staff.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and customer-friendly department.
• Familiarity with products; understand price, taste, prep, and use.
