Job summary

SpartanNash’s Goshen store is seeking a capable department leader to manage daily operations in the absence of the department manager, ensuring trained associates, full staffing, and execution of company standards and KPIs for the Goshen location at 1401 College Avenue.

You’ll order and stock inventory, validate received orders, supervise stocking and rotation, minimize loss, and support scheduling, labor control and payroll impact while maintaining product freshness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years retail experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store department operations in the absence of the manager.
• Order and maintain inventory while minimizing loss and ensuring freshness.
• Supervise stocking, rotation, and production tasks with training for associates.
• Manage scheduling, labor control, and payroll impact for the department.
• Support the department manager to achieve goals and KPIs.
