Billy Reid in Chicago is seeking a Store Director to lead store operations, sales and customer experience with a focus on hospitality and culture. You will mentor sales staff, drive selling culture, manage events, and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for customers and employees.

• Assist in implementing retail direction across stores, including selling culture, merchandising guidelines, promotions, and events

• Work with Store Director to improve store conversion rate year over year by 1–2%
• Build a clientele-driven business through relationships to support repeat business
• Demonstrate sales leadership on the sales floor engaging with top clients
• Maintain awareness of external market and competition
• Support omni-channel initiatives including web order fulfillment and email opt-in
• Support Marketing events and local collaborations
• Handle administrative responsibilities efficiently (HR, FINANCE, INVENTORY PROCESSES)

Role Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director in the implementation of all Retail direction in stores including, but not limited to the following areas:
  • S Selling Culture
  • Merch Guidelines
  • Markdowns & Promos
  • National & Local Events
• Assist in training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sale staff to meet and exceed goals
• Work with Store Director to continuously improve conversion rate in store with a goal of a 1%-2% improvement year over year
• Build a clientele driven business rooted in developing relationships to support repeat business.
• Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the sales floor through customer engagement with top clients, ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided;
• Maintain a keen awareness of the external market and competition
• Support omni channel initiatives including but not limited to web order fulfillment and email opt in
• Support Marketing events and contribute to local collaborations
• As assigned, ensure all administrative responsibilities are handled in an efficient & timely manner. (HR, FINANCE, INVENTORY PROCESSES)
• Ensure store is operating in compliance with all Billy Reid policies
