Job summary

Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino is seeking an Assistant Slot Shift Manager to lead daily slot operations on a rotating shift. You will oversee floor coverage, game availability, and guest service while ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls.

As MOD when assigned, you will drive team performance, train staff, and support department projects with the Slot Shift Manager and Director of Slots & Beverage. Strong leadership and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible casino gaming operations experience, including at least one year in a slot supervisory or lead role.
• Previous experience as Manager on Duty (MOD) in a casino is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Title 31 and NIGC internal control standards.
• Willing and available to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Responsibilities

• Promote and support a culture of excellence by modeling STRC values and delivering exceptional guest service.
• Direct daily slot floor operations during the assigned shift and ensure floor coverage and game availability.
• Ensure compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and department policies.
• Lead slot team members, coach, and take corrective action in partnership with the Slot Shift Manager.
• Monitor game availability, coordinate repairs, and ensure ticketing and cash handling equipment operate properly.
• Maintain logs, reports, and required slot paperwork; document variances and errors.
• Oversee MOD duties when assigned, including emergency response and operational decisions across departments.
• Collaborate with Security, Surveillance, Players Club, Hosts, Beverage, and Cage to deliver seamless guest service.
