A leading company in construction security is seeking a Construction Surveillance Technician. The role involves monitoring construction activities for compliance with ICD 705 standards, documenting incidents, and ensuring site security. Candidates must have relevant experience and active clearance.
Must possess active clearance and a high school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 3 years (5 years preferred) of direct ICD 705 compliant construction project build experience for CONUS locations.
At least 1 year of direct experience working on ICD 705 compliant construction projects as a CST or assistant SSM.
In-depth knowledge of ICD 705 requirements, including associated Technical Specification.
Completed SSM or CST training/certification.
Demonstrated understanding of the SCIF accreditation process, requirements, and documentation.
Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and move around frequently at secure construction sites, including uneven surfaces, stairs, and ladders.
The contractor shall perform all construction surveillance technician functions per ICD705, monitoring all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with ICD705 and the CSP for the secure space facility construction project.
Work closely with the designated SSM, conducting continuous surveillance of construction workers, materials, and processes to identify security risks and prevent unauthorized access or compromise of the secure project site, materials, tools, and construction processes.
Document detailed records of all construction activities and incidents to support certification requirements. Report security incidents promptly to the SSM.
Coordinate with access control/escort personnel to ensure site security, including opening/closing, inspections, and searches to prevent unauthorized access or materials.
