Job summary

Fortrex is seeking an Assistant Site Manager in Sanitation to support the Site Manager in daily supervision of the sanitation crew at a processing facility in Georgia. You will manage operations, safety audits, and plant communications with customers and corporate offices, ensuring cleanliness and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of sanitation experience, basic computer skills, and bilingual English/Spanish ability.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of related sanitation experience.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract.
• General working knowledge of computers and technology.
• Ability to fluently speak, read, and write Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager in the daily supervision of the sanitation crew and operations.
• Communicate with Site Manager daily to report accidents, downtime, and issues.
• Complete safety audits and ensure a safe work environment for staff.
• Coordinate with customers and corporate office on logs, payroll, and supplies.
• Attend sanitation meetings with customers and comply with regulatory requirements.
