Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager in Ohio. The role includes leading the shop in the absence of the Shop Manager, delivering excellent customer service, and overseeing daily operations to keep service flowing smoothly.

The position offers paid training, growth opportunities, and hourly compensation with additional bonuses. Candidates with any background are welcome; experience not required but a positive attitude is a big plus.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service and process payments efficiently.
• Demonstrate leadership by assuming authority of Shop Manager in their absence.
• Train and mentor new employees to follow standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process payment for services performed
• Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Shop Manager’s absence
• Run the floor (ensuring staff are where they need to be, vehicles checked, customers satisfied)
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory
• Train new employees to fulfill duties in the Take 5 way
• Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness
