Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team and deliver a high-quality customer experience. You will support the Shop Manager, train teammates, and step in as Manager on Duty when needed, ensuring safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

We value 6 months of customer service and leadership experience, with a focus on practical coaching, clear communication, and adherence to procedures. Automotive background is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies and practices.
• Reliable transportation to and from your work location.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily shop operations and support the Shop Manager.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed and coordinate workflow.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately and according to procedures and standards.
• Train new teammates and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and follow-up.
