Take 5 Oil Change in Westlake, OH is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You’ll support the Shop Manager with daily operations, staff development, and delivering a quick, friendly customer experience.

This hands-on role offers paid training, a path to leadership, and bonus opportunities. Automotive experience is valued but not required, and you’ll join a team committed to safety, quality, and the Take 5 way.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Ability to follow safety and facility policies.
• Strong communication and feedback delivery to team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shop Manager with daily operations and staff development.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed, coordinating workflow.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Ensure services are completed accurately and in line with standards and safety policies.
• Provide real-time coaching, training and feedback to new team members.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and inventory tasks.
