Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You’ll support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and fast, friendly customer experiences. Automotive experience is valued, but not required, as we provide paid training to learn the Take 5 standards.

This role includes opportunities to grow into leadership positions and participate in a proven promotion path within the Take 5 organization.

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment delivering consistent and exceptional customer service.
• 6 months experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.
• Initiative, accountability, and follow-through on responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty and coordinate workflow.
• Lead and train team; provide coaching.
• Ensure safety, service standards, and quality.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop reporting and communication.
