Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, staff development, and a high‑quality customer experience. You may serve as Manager on Duty, ensuring safety, efficiency, and smooth operation with hands‑on training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months' experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction and feedback.
• Initiative, accountability, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Provide fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns.
• Ensure services are completed accurately and according to procedures.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and take on leadership responsibilities.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching.
• Perform Certified Technician and Lead Technician responsibilities.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication and follow-up.
