Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager in Ohio. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and delivering fast, friendly customer service.

You’ll step in as Manager on Duty, ensure safety and efficiency, and help the team stay focused. Training is provided; automotive experience valued but not required.

This role offers growth from shop floor to leadership, with strong performance and a clear career path.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback, reinforce expectations.
• Train new team members and recognize strong performance.
• Perform Certified Technician and Lead Technician responsibilities.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and follow-up.
