Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support daily operations, coach staff, and ensure a safe, high-quality customer experience.

We provide paid hands-on training to teach technical skills and Take 5 standards. Automotive experience is valued but not required, with growth paths from technician to leadership across the network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment delivering consistent and exceptional customer service for every customer.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.
• Initiative, accountability, and follow-through on responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the shop floor and support the Shop Manager with daily operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members and train new staff.
• Provide fast, friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while reinforcing safety and service standards.
• Assist with inventory counts and shop communication and reporting.
